Checking In on Prior Knowledge and Anticipation Guides in "Action"
Anticipation guides can be used fro teachers to quickly see what students already know about a unit of student prior to instruction. They can also be used to engage students in new learning. The first video is an example of a teacher using an interactive version of this idea in a health class. This same idea can be used across a continuum or in four corners.
